When you take the time to recycle your old computer, phone systems, technologies and electronic items instead of throwing it directly into the garbage, you want to be sure your efforts or your corporate responsibilities policies are going for a positive cause.

With Georgia E-Waste …it is.

Georgia E-Waste is a premiere recycling organization of computer technologies and electronic goods utilized by companies, schools, communities and individuals in their daily lives. Our commitment to recycle surpasses all other recycling companies. That's because we recycle or reuse every component of the computer, monitor, cell phones or electronics components.

We hold ourselves to a higher standard with a zero landfill policy.

In addition, Georgia E-Waste exceeds all regulatory regulations, is a member of the Georgia Recycling Collation and enforces strict guidelines for HIPAA compliance. We continue to invest in the latest technologies for wiping hard drives that contain personal and private information as well as developing processes and procedures for expedient dismantling and recycling of all materials.

We also believe that if we encourage everyone to recycle their computers, printers, video conferencing equipment, technologies and electronics, more companies, schools, communities and people will. That’s why we do not charge for disposing the items.

Recycling and Disposal of Electronics:

Electronic waste is growing at three times the rate of other wastes. Georgia E-Waste stepped up to the plate to answer communities’ concerns to divert hazardous materials used in electronics from counties landfills. Our 15,000 square feet facility with 3-dock height bay doors, specialized equipment, in house logistics and trained personnel, allow us to handle several thousand tons of obsolete electronics a year, and answer our communities’ environmental concern.

Targeted and Data Destruction:

Targeted Destruction is the physical destruction of the electronic devices to be recycled, using shredders or crushers. Georgia E-Waste destroys on request, any electronics used or new, for, among others, the Customs and Border Protection administration.

Data destruction means the secure and irreversible removal of any data stored on any magnetic media, in compliance with HIPAA, recommended processes such as DoD 5220.22M and others are used specifically for this purpose.
